About
Welcome - I’m Scarlett. I came into fundraising as an organizer, drawn to this work by the power of storytelling and the promise of how organized resources can catalyze and scale people-powered movements for social change.
I am passionate about supporting organizations in the movement to build values-aligned, community-centered fundraising programs and campaigns. I have over six years of experience building development infrastructure from scratch, developing compelling grant narratives, leading successful fundraising campaigns and teams, and cultivating and securing major philanthropic gifts for both 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) organizations. I care deeply about advancing progressive causes and have partnered with organizations leading work in the areas of democracy reform, economic justice, judicial reform, climate justice, civic engagement, and more. My consulting practice supports individual leaders and organizations to transform their relationship with money, build their fundraising confidence, develop strong infrastructure to enable growth, and ultimately reach their fundraising goals.

Scarlett has worked in community organizing, political campaigns, and fundraising and philanthropy for over 10 years. Most recently, Scarlett helped lead national fundraising efforts for the Alliance for Youth Action as the Senior Development Director, supporting the organization to grow from a $4 million budget in 2017 to over $17 million in 2020. A proud Coloradan, Scarlett received her B.A. from the University of Denver summa cum laude with majors in Political Science, Public Policy, and French. She currently resides in Aurora, Colorado with her partner and Shichon pup, Benito.
